RUSSIA - Over the last month, five new outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been detected by the Russian Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance service. The outbreaks were reported in the west of the country in the Orlovskaya, Voronezhskaya and Kurskaya regions. In total, 1140 cases were found on farms, leading to the death of 37,058 pigs, and four cases in wild boar.
