中國有兩個張飛廟 。一是位于四川省閬中市古城區西街59號的漢桓侯祠，俗稱張飛廟，全國重點文物保護單位 。二是位于重慶市云陽縣盤石鎮龍寶村獅子巖下的張飛廟，又名張桓侯廟，系為紀念三國時期蜀漢名將張飛而修建 。
1、漢桓侯祠，俗稱張飛廟，位于四川省閬中市古城區西街59號，全國重點文物保護單位 。
漢桓侯祠，是紀念三國時蜀漢名將張飛的祠廟 。因張飛死后追謚為桓侯，故名 。唐時叫"張侯祠"，明代稱"雄威廟"，清代以來才叫 "桓侯祠" 。
2、張飛廟，又名張桓侯廟，位于重慶市云陽縣盤石鎮龍寶村獅子巖下，系為紀念三國時期蜀漢名將張飛而修建 。
張飛廟始建于蜀漢末期，距今已有1700多年的歷史 。后經宋、元、明、清歷代擴建，現存建筑面積1400平方米，琉璃粉墻，金碧輝煌 。殿宇群，依山取勢，廟內碑刻書畫豐富，被譽為“巴蜀勝景、文藻勝地” 。
張飛廟為什么在云陽張飛被他的部下所殺，其身體埋葬在閬中，其頭埋葬在云陽，故都建有張飛廟 。
