rise和raise都有“上升 ， 升起 ， 上漲 ， 舉起”等意思 。但是rise是不及物動詞 ， 后面不接賓語 ， 而raise為及物動詞 ， 后面要加賓語 。raise有被動語態 ， 主語通常為人、機構等 ， 即指抬起或舉起具體事物 ， 也指提高數量、水平、價格、質量等 ， 常包含人為因素 ， 例如舉起胳膊 ， 提高薪水等 。
