1、interest作為“興趣”時用作不可數名詞 ， 但可以加不定冠詞 。例如：
He feels no (not much, a great) interest in politics.
他對政治不（不太、非常）感興趣 。
He shows an interest in music. 他對音樂感興趣 。
2、interest作“愛好；引起興趣的地方”講時為可數名詞 。例如：

3、interest 作“利害（關系）；權益；股份”講時 ， 為可數名詞 。例如：
an interest in a business 一個企業的股份 。
4、interest作“利益”講時，常用復數形式 。例如：

5、interest作“幫；派；同行者”講時 ， 常用復數形式 。例如：
the business interests 商界
6、interest作“重要（性）；重大”講時為不可數名詞 。例如：
