東吳：公元260年，145萬平方公里；三國時期的泰州屬于吳國地盤是揚州南部，當時為江東六郡 。
江東六郡：
1、吳郡：以江蘇蘇州為治所的郡，包括江蘇南部和上海西部，196年打敗許貢所得；
2、丹陽：以安徽宣城為治所的郡，后治所移到秣陵，211年后改稱建業，包括安徽小部分和江蘇小部分，195年打敗劉繇所得；
3、會稽：以浙江紹興為治所的郡，包括浙江和福建，當時福建沒有設立郡，后來由孫權設，196打敗王朗所得；
